There are 2 versions of Native Instrument's Kontakt software. We'll explain the difference between each one below:
Kontakt Player (Free version)
Kontakt Player is a free expandable software instrument that you can download from Native Instrument's site. It is only compatible with certain instruments and libraries.

Full Kontakt (Paid for version)
The full version of Kontakt is a paid-for product that's compatible with all Kontakt instruments and libraries.

How do I know which version of Kontakt I need to have to run a product?
To check what version of Kontakt the product you are interested in is compatible with, please scroll down towards the bottom of the product page to the "System Requirements" section. There, you will find the compatibility requirements for your system and also information on the required version of Kontakt.
The product I purchased is showing in Kontakt as a demo instrument. Why is this?
If your purchase is showing up as a demo, it is because you have tried to open a library that is not compatible with your version of Kontakt:
If you are experiencing this problem, you will need to purchase the full (paid) version of Kontakt to be able to use your product in full mode.
